Cricket Bursary — No Child Turned Away, Sutton
WHAT IS THE BURSARY?
Cheam Cricket Club has been open to the families of Sutton since 1864, and we do not want the cost of joining to be the reason a child does not play.
If money is tight, we can help with the cost of membership. Bursaries are considered case by case at the club's discretion — just ask, in confidence.
Ask our Chairman directly at chairman@cheamcricketclub.co.uk. It stays between you, our Chairman and our Head of Juniors — nobody else at the club sees it.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Any child aged 5–17 living in Sutton or surrounding areas
Families on Universal Credit, free school meals, or similar
Families facing temporary financial hardship
No proof of income is required — your word is enough
