Some local clubs make children audition before they can join.
Children are assessed and turned away if considered not good enough.
At Cheam CC, every player is welcome.
We do not believe any child should be told they are not good enough to play cricket. If you want to play, there is a place for you here.
Match Fees Included. Always.
Most local clubs charge match fees on top of membership — £4 to £10 per game, per child, per match day.
Over a 14-game season, that adds up to £56–£140 in unexpected costs.
At Cheam CC, your membership covers everything. One price. No extras.
No surprises on match day.
Bursaries for Families Who Need Them.
Cricket should not be a sport only for families who can afford it.
We offer bursaries for:

Families with 3 or more children joining

Families experiencing financial difficulty
