Welcome to Cheam Cricket Club Juniors Section,

 

Our youth section is a source of immense pride, growing stronger each year. We anticipate one of our largest intakes yet due to our strong relationships with local schools.

​

This year, we're going further, implementing a program that exceeds county requirements for each age group and includes formal assessments  for Academy intake.

​

As parents and coaches ourselves, we understand the importance of a well-rounded cricket experience. Our goal is to provide opportunities for boys and girls of all ages and abilities, fostering enjoyment alongside excellence, teamwork, and personal development.

​

All age groups are taught in a fun, supportive environment, with a focus on developing fundamental skills in the early years. As players progress, we introduce more technical refinement.

​

We actively nurture promising talent and support those who wish to push their abilities. Last year was particularly successful, with several children trying out for County programs. Players who demonstrate exceptional talent move into our Academy System, where they're gradually introduced to adult cricket at the appropriate time.

​

Our experienced coaching team is bolstered each year, with many additions being former colts who are now qualified coaches.

We're an ECB Clubmark Club, ensuring we meet the highest standards in coaching and administration.

​

Inclusivity and a family-friendly atmosphere have always been our strengths. We believe in collaboration, shaping the club according to our collective vision. We're dedicated to youth development and aim to provide one of the best coaching programs in the county. We're backing this ambition with significant time and financial investment.
